In an effort to learn more about the value of whole wheat, some of the staff here at Country Living Productions were fortunate to spend a weekend on beautiful Whidbey Island in Washington State attending a two-day conference that was geared toward baking with 100% whole wheat. The Grain Gathering, as it’s called, is sponsored by Washington State University’s Mount Vernon Research Center. This was a unique opportunity for professional bakers, serious home bakers, and novices to come together and enjoy workshops and delicious meals. I thought I would share a few…

Dear staff at Country Living, My husband and I ordered the Country Living Grain Mill on the afternoon of July 13th and by 2pm on the 15th, received our order. They tasted so good! Nothing like homemade goods. Thank you for a well-made product. We are well pleased and hope to get many, many good years…

February 11, 2012

The Country Living Grain Mill is easily the best 15th Oct 2011 Dear Sir, I would like to tell you how impressed I am with your Country Living Grain Mill. I have bought 3 other hand grain mills from your country including the Wonder Junior grain mill during the last couple of months. Each one I wasn’t satisfied with. Either, too hard to crank or too slow, or too small a hopper or not well made. The Country Living Grain Mill is easily the best. Grinding the wheat is a…

“I am writing from Thailand and I have been using the grain mill for several years now and I am very happy with it. The flour is so fine that I have been able to make whole wheat bread without any other flour. Getting our motor kit was a big help, too. Here is a picture of the previous “motor” – members of my family that took turns cranking the mill. Sincerely, Charles Harris Chiang Rai, Thailand”
