Made In The U.S.A

MSRP:

We read about a lot of grain mills and I kept coming back to yours. I know it cost a little more but, we feel that you put a lot of tender loving care into your grain mill. We also like the fact that it was made in the U.S.A., it is very difficult to find American Made Products and we find that a very sad commentary. Thanks again for making it possible to support this country’s people. Sincerely, Dorothy Goda

Tested Other Hand Grain Mills

November 25, 2011

Free

MSRP:

I recently attended a consumer show where I tested half a dozen other hand grain mills. The Country Living grain mill was easier to turn and had the most consistent grind of all the other mills. Some of the other mills were so hard to turn, you would have to be desperate to use them! Thank you for a quality product. Sincerely, Mindy Gordon

From the Canadian Grain Commission “I first want to thank you for the use of your grain mills. They have been a wonderful addition to our educational display. Both adults and children have enjoyed using them and are fascinated by how they work. Again, thank you so much for your generosity. “WOW! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! The mill was received right before our school May Faire, then opened a couple days later (May Faire is very, very busy). The teachers were shocked at how lovely the mill is, and the children– well the first day the mill was unveiled the children ground every piece of grain available on the premises! The children (including my daughter, a fussy 5 year old) love the mill. We will be taking pictures and sending you copies of these! Cheers, Leann Eugene Waldorf School…

The Highest Quality Construction

November 25, 2011

“…I’d like to take this opportunity to comment on the Country Living Grain Mill. One rarely sees a product of such superior quality in all respects. I have found the mill to be of the highest quality construction, design, ease of use, and, in addition, is aesthetically very pleasing. I know there are other mills on the market and even some knock-off products, but I feel anyone purchasing a mill that plans to rely on it for any reason should not hesitate to select the Country Living Grain Mill. Your…

Your Grinder Rocks…or Grinding Dimes

April 23, 2009

Free

MSRP:

My children (4 and 6 years old) managed to slip a dime into either my beans or wheat. The dime is flattened and scraped, almost unrecognizable. After looking at the dime I was sure my grinder was ruined. I reassembled it and set it on fine. To my utter amazement it still ground my flour super fine! Thanks for such a good product. I am sure I will be buying some more plates just in case something terrible happens to my grinder. But for now it still works despite a…

Helping Families In Ethiopia

April 9, 2009

Free

MSRP:

Jack, attached you will find two pictures of my recent trip to the village of Kalo, Ethiopia. This is a village of 9000 people and 277 farms. Each farm being an average of 100 hectares. The principle crops are maize, teff and wheat. Prior to the delivery of your Country Living Grinding Mill they had to travel 8 miles, on foot carrying up to 100 pounds on their backs, to the nearest grain mill. This was a 10-12 hour day. Today 10-15 families NO LONGER have to make that trip.…

We Bought A Cheaper Grain Mill

April 7, 2009

Free

MSRP:

“Dear Mr. Jenkins, I was sending our product registration in and just wanted to let you know our family is extremely pleased with our new Country Living Mill. This was our last effort at home grinding. We had originally researched different mills and eventually bought one that was a little cheaper than the CLM. Well, lots of huffing and puffing later we just still couldn’t seem to grind wheat efficiently and finely as claimed. We bought it from a very reputable company and have been pleased with their other products…

A Superior American Made Design

“Dear Mr. Jenkins, I just got my Country Living Grain Mill set up last weekend, and wanted to drop you a quick note. FIRST: I love it. It’s the best quality for the dollar bar none. I’m still waiting for the Mrs. to bake bread but so far, the flour I’m getting from it is superior to anything I ever got from my Kitchen Aid mixer mill, and almost as fast, since I only have to run the flour through it ONE time, and not 4. It is truly a…

The BEAN Grinder Gal!

“I’ve had my mill for almost 1 year now. I don’t know if you remember, but I’m from Chicago–the BEAN grinder gal! Well I’ve been using the Country Living Mill on an average of 2 times weekly, and love it! I use it strictly to grind dry beans such as split yellow & green peas, and red & orange lentils. I combine the bean flour with semolina or whole wheat flour, depending on whether I’m making pasta or quick bread… Sent via iPhone March 30, 2009 Ellen from Chicago
