From the Canadian Grain Commission

"I first want to thank you for the use of your grain mills. They have been a wonderful addition to our educational display. Both adults and children have enjoyed using them and are fascinated by how they work.

Again, thank you so much for your generosity.

Sincerely,

Jan Knight

I’ve had my Country Living Grain Mill for about 10 years now. I purchased this mill for the sole purpose of grinding beans into flour. I use red lentils, yellow and green split peas and black lentils, which can be found in Indian grocery stores around here. I usually ground 2 cups at a time. I get a wonderful upper body workout and freshly milled bean flour to boot! I use the bean flour to make pasta and lately, indian dosas. A dosa is a vegan-style, savory crepe/pancake –also gluten free. I love it! I’d definitely have to say that it takes a motivated and ambitious individual to own such a wonderful piece of equipment!
