Basically, just like you- one of the six billion people who
presently inhabit this careworn earth.
In his small way Jenkins has tried to be an influence for good to at
least a few of the inhabitants of this small planet by writing and directing
plays and co-authoring a musical (soon to be in it’s sixth production) with
the goal to entertain and uplift - never to degrade.
He
has written and produced educational films for Washington State, the
University of Washington, Easter Seal and a baby care series for Safeco. For
over ten years he wrote and narrated a successful syndicated radio
commentary "American Reflections" (based on his family
journal).
Jenkins also voiced a futuristic commentary "Looking at
Tomorrow" that was heard nation wide. He has appeared on TV’s
Evening and Epcott Magazines with his 900 mile per gallon machine. But most
important of all, to Jack, is the mantle of husband and father – a cloak he
still wears with a sense of awe and thanksgiving.

Jenkins, in his callow youth (twenty years old) embarked on his first
entrepreneural venture and opened one of the first pizza restaurants north of
Seattle. That spirit of entrepreneurism and great pizza is still alive and
well - and Jenkins and his ‘Everlasting Brick Oven’ are both fired up and
ready to share it with you
